AA Bernard - Super Recovery Team Member!

Special thanks goes out today to our newest (honorary) member Bernard - the one on the right.

Although not especially proficient on any musical instrument Bernard claims to know all of Miss Tilly's tunes as well as being able to hum In the Mood.

Bernard came to the rescue of Dan and Andy (both AA members) who were stranded in Bedworth on Saturday night after Dan's car broke down earlier in the evening, when the snow was just starting to fall. By the end of the gig, when we were due to be recovered, we found out that the AA was literally snowed under with calls, and that we would have to stay in a travelodge in Nuneaton, provided as a courtesy by the AA.

The following morning we were collected by Bernard (part of Wolverhampton's excellent depot) and taken back to London. The journey seemed shorter than it was thanks to some of Bernard's great anecdotes. Dan being a Londoner couldn't make out some of what Bernard was saying, and asked if he could say it again. "This is Ow We Spake", replied Bernard!

More thanks goes out to Amy, and all of the other call centre members who helped to co-ordinate our rescue. For musicians who are constantly on the road the AA really is the fourth emergency service, and we will be forever grateful for their assistance. If you aren't a member already - you should be!!!!
